This article explains the Company/Department section in the admin portal. You can create, edit, or delete a company/department here.

When is this helpful?

This section is helpful to manage all the companies/departments you have created. You can create, edit, or delete companies here.

Creating a Company/Department
   1. Log in to the admin portal on your computer.


   2. Navigate to Setup > Company/Dept.


   3. Click on either the Create New button or the Add button. 

The following screen appears:

   4. Click the Upload button to upload a logo from your computer.

Note: Only .png and .jpg file formats with size limits up to 150kb are supported.


   5. Enter the Company/Department and Short Name.


   6. Select the default time frame Start at and Complete By timings.


   7. Click the Add Assignee button to add an assignee to the company/department. The following screen appears:

  • Enter the Full Name, Email Address, and Department of the assignee.
  • Select the Approval Required checkbox if the assignee's approval is required.
  • Select the Default Assignee checkbox if the assignee should be the default person to approve the actions in the app.


   8. Click the Save button.

Editing a Company/Department

   1. Log in to the admin portal on your computer.


   2. Navigate to Setup > Company/Dept. 

   3. Click on the three dots icon, and select Edit. The Edit Company/Department screen appears:

   4. Edit the Company/Department name, Short Name, and the Logo.


   5. You can also modify the assignee here by clicking the Add Assignee button.

Exporting a List of Companies/Departments

   1. Log in to the admin portal on your computer.


   2. Navigate to Setup > Company/Dept.


   3. Click the Export button in the top-right corner to export all the companies/departments into an Excel spreadsheet. 

Deleting/Archiving a Company/Department

   1. Click on the three-dots icon and click on Delete/Archive.

   2. A message appears on the screen indicating that the company has been archived. It will move to the Deleted/Archived section.


   3. To restore, click the three-dots icon on a company in the Deleted/Archived section and select Restore. The company will move back into the Companies section.

Finding a Company/Department

You can use the search bar at the top to locate a company in your list.

Changing the Companies View

You can view the companies or departments in a grid or a list view.
